Product Overview

The UCD-1500 ultrasonic cell disruptor features a new digital power supply with an integrated high-performance DSP processor. Utilizing digital frequency synthesis and digital phase-locked loop composite control, it delivers precise automatic frequency tracking, high integration, and exceptional frequency adaptability. Available in standard, general-purpose, and pilot-scale models to handle various sample volumes, this series offers continuously adjustable time and power settings. It effectively disrupts animal and plant tissues, cells, and bacteria, and is also ideal for emulsification, separation, dispersion, extraction, cleaning, and accelerating chemical reactions.

How It Works

How It Works

Leveraging the cavitation effect of ultrasonic waves in liquids, the transducer converts electrical energy into high-intensity shear forces at the tool head via the horn. This creates rapid, alternating pressure cycles that cause bubbles to expand and collapse violently, rupturing cells. Additionally, intense acoustic turbulence accelerates particles, driving collisions between particles or with vessel walls to achieve cell disruption, emulsification, and separation.
